PASTRY BAG

I like a to have two sizes in bags, a small and large, but canvas only. The plastic ones are too slippery and hard to twist; the canvas get nice and worn with use and are much easier to grasp and control. Make sure you remember to buy pastry tips. There are several to choose from but a star tip and straight tip should be enough.
